- Clean using a damp cloth or sponge with mild dish detergent
- Deep clean with any household cleaner
 - Follow with coat of
mineral oil

- Use 120 grit sandpaper to remove the blemish
- Follow with a coat of mineral oil

- Apply mineral oil with a soft cloth
- Allow it to sit for at least an hour or overnight
- Use a clean dry cloth to wipe the excess oil
- Initially, several applications may be necessary to keep the patina of the stone uniform and looking new
- Repeat as needed
