The estimator position will be responsible for identifying client needs on respective projects and pricing those needs. You will present your estimates to the project and accounting managers.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs, scope reviews, and pricing for various projects types from the concept design stage to the working document stage.
- Work closely with project managers and coordination team to obtain all necessary project information to complete the estimate.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, projects or services.
- Analyzing and comparing bids with projected budget costs.
- Continually checking the work product for accuracy and completeness.
